PLAYERS RATINGS: Arsenal vs Man City And Man Of The Match. TERRIBLE!

A terrible performance from Unai Emery’s side, Arsenal, where the Gunners were so lucky to finish the match and especially the first half with just one goal, where Manchester City were able to easily score three or four goals during the match.

Arsenal lost their only remaining left back defender, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, where he left the pitch with an injury after around 30 minutes only, which added more defensive issues to Arsenal’s shaky defense where Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis couldn’t stop Manchester City’s players to end up conceding two goals.

We will rate our players after every match, here is Arsenal Insider players ratings:

Petr Cech:  Without him, it would end 4-0. Made a crucial one on one save against Aguera, and a couple of saves in the first half. 7.5/10

Shkodran Mustafi: One of his worst performances. 5/10

Sokratis Papastathopoulos: Was able to do better in the first and second goal, his pace and positioning aren’t helping the squad. 5/10

Hector Bellerin: Did nothing, at all. Barely contributed in some crosses. 5/10

Ainsley Maitland-Niles: Too bad he got injured, tried to play and continue but couldn’t. 5/10

Granit Xhaka:  Made a silly mistake that was going to lead to a goal, like the one he did against Leicester City and led to conceding a goal on his debut. 5/10

Matteo Guendouzi: His role is identical to Xhaka’s didn’t add much to the midfield and even Petr Cech had more touches than him in the first 30 minutes. 6.5/10

Aaron Ramsey: Had to be benched, didn’t give anything. 5.5/10

Henrikh Mkhitaryan:  His selfishness made the team not score in the 33rd minute when he didn’t pass but tried to shot on target. 6/10

Mesut Ozil: Offered nothing at all today, as well. 5/10
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: One of his worst performances. 6/10

Stephan Lichtsteiner: Played as a left back and made his debut, tried to help in the offense. 6/10
Alexander Lacazette: Had to start over Ramsey. 6/10
Lucas Torreira: Had to start over Guendouzi as well. 6/10
Man of the match: From Arsenal’s players, only Petr Cech.
