PLAYERS RATINGS: Liverpool 4-0 West Ham And Man Of The Match

A very good and important win for the Reds, Liverpool FC, against the Hammers, West Ham United, in the Premier League debut where Liverpool got three important points with an amazing performance to prove that they are one of the main Premier League title candidates.

Liverpool opened the score sheet by their main star, Mohamed Salah, where he scored the first goal followed by his teammate, Sadio Mane, who scored one goal in the last seconds of the first half, and his second goal and third goal for Liverpool shortly after resuming the second half.

Moreover, Daniel Sturridge was awarded a goal seconds after walking on the pitch, even though it seemed that it was an own goal.

Alisson Becker: Wasn’t really tested. His first clean sheet. 7/10

Trent Alexander-Arnold: Was close to scoring by a free kick on the 24th minute, but wasn’t in his top form. 6.5

Joe Gomez: Amazing first half. One of the best defenders. 8/10

Virgil van Dijk: Wasn’t really tested. A Calm match. 7/10

Andrew Robertson: One assist and a good match. 7/10

Georginio Wijnaldum: Was okay, an average match for the Dutch player. 6.5/10

James Milner: One of the best players on the pitch today. His effort in the attack and defense is incredible. Maybe the best player today. 9/10

Naby Keita: It’s hard to tell it was his debit, his positioning and reading of the opponent on the pitch is incredible. 8.5/10

Sadio Mane: Scored twice, the second was slightly offside though. But an amazing performance by the new number 10! 9/10

Roberto Firmino: Made an assist and was helping the team. Didn’t score though. 8/10

Mohamed Salah: One goal and an amazing performance, as usual. 8.5/10





Jordan Henderson:  Came to secure the score, did well. 5/10

Daniel Sturridge: Scored a goal after just seconds of getting on the pitch. 5/10

Xherdan Shaqiri: Seemed eager to score and impress. Didn’t have the time to score though. 5/10

Man of the match: It’s hard to choose between Sadio Mane and James Milner, but the effort Milner did can’t be gone unseen. James Milner is our man of the match.

Jurgen Klopp (manager): An amazing win at home against a team that many expected to be the black horse. A good start for the season. 8/10
