Manchester United’s full squad that will be participating against the former Premier League champions, Leicester City, today, Friday the 10th of August 2018, has been officially revealed by Manchester Evening News.
Manchester United will be making their debut in this Premier League’s season, 2018/2019, against Leicester City where it’s the first Premier League match as well where the Red Devils will look for three valuable points and being on the top of the Premier League table.
Manchester Evening News, MEN, has spotted Manchester United players while they are arriving at the hotel through their photographers where Manchester Evening News reported the full squad of the players that will be taking place against Leicester City tonight, and the squad has some surprises where two players are spotted among the players.
Goalkeepers: David de Gea, Lee Grant, and Matej Kovar.
Defenders: Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, and Luke Shaw.
Midfielders: Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Fred, Andreas Pereira, and Marouane Fellaini.
Forwards: Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, and Anthony Martial
The squad included Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial who weren’t expected to take part of the squad currently, and Romelu Lukaku who has just arrived a few days ago from the vacation.
On the other hand, Jesse Lingard and Matteo Darmian weren’t spotted among the other players, in addition to Joel Pereira.
Moreover, Manchester United has six confirmed injuries which are Diogo Dalot, Sergio Romero, Marcos Rojo, Nemanja Matic, Antonio Valencia, and Ander Hererra.
